Did magick today--as usual, wondered what I am doing with my life.
How often do we spend so much time doing things that are unfulfilling to our soul? How can we recapture the sense of fulfillment that is needed in order to nourish our soul?
Magick nourishes my soul and spirit.
However, as a human being there are of course things I need to do for survival.
But much of what I do is driven by the ego's need for control or sustenance.
How can I approach the rest of my activities the way I do with magick--in a healthy manner that nourishes my soul?
For example, my ego feels a "need" to work, or to clean, or to download pictures off my iPhone lest anxiety seeps in over my lack of "productivity", organization, or accomplishments. These things in and of themselves do not inherently nourish my soul unless I do them in a way that supports that.
How can I channel this nourishing and supportive energy into the rest of my life so that everything I do is fulfilling and meaningful?
Is this something that I strive for or does it just come to pass with magick?
(Am I even asking the right question?)
If I divvy up my life in terms of the activities I do, their frequency, and length--what would you find out about my life?
